Sockets and sets

Punch sockets, inlay socket stones, and collect a purple crafting set for its bonus.

Updated

Socket stones

Weapons, coats, trousers, hats, shoes and bracelets can hold up to six sockets; necklaces and rings take none. Punch an empty socket at the blacksmith, then inlay a socket stone: its bonus shows in green beside the stat it raises. Each new hole costs more than the last, and inlaying costs more for rarer stones.

Purple crafting sets

Purple pieces of the same class and series (01 Balanced, 02 Resistance, 03 HP) form a set, in any of the eight combat slots, while their durability is above zero.

  • Two pieces raise the set's main stat.
  • Four pieces raise the main stat more and add the secondary stat.
  • Eight pieces give the biggest bonus to both.

Only the highest tier you have reached applies. The Set bonus box in the Character window shows each active set, how many pieces you wear and what it adds.
