Patch Notes v0.14.8: Level 80, the Tamer Expedition and Top Up

The level cap rises to 80, the Tamer Expedition begins, and the Lumi Store is open. Phones get a HUD built for them, too. Here's everything new.

⬆️ Level Cap 80

The cap is now level 80. Levels 60 to 80 are a long climb, with tougher walls at 69 and 79.
Levels 1 to 60 go about a third faster, and the daily Trial and Part-Time Job pay five times the experience below level 60.
Monster experience is rebalanced for the new cap: monsters above your level pay more (up to +25%), monsters far below pay less, and dungeon runs pay better than the open field.
Double and Triple EXP cards, and the weekly Double EXP claim, now boost experience from monster kills.

The Expedition in the Events hub

A three-week event with its own story and shop. It runs until 1 Nov, 13:00 WIB; the Expedition Shop stays open until 8 Nov.

Legacy of the Five Legends: a seven-step story chain starting at level 15 in Kharugna.
Expedition dailies at the Guild Master: Patrol (Lv15), Road Warden (Lv30) and Guild Duty (Lv40), twice a day each, paying 3, 4 and 5 Expedition Tokens.
Expedition Shop (Event Shop tab): the Winged Butterfly Glider (+30 to all five stats), the Simba the Ball King and Fox Spirit soul orbs, a Pet Skill Book (Lv55) and the new Expedition Medal.
Expedition Tokens and everything the shop sells are tradable.
Go to quest on the event's card walks you straight to the story or the dailies.

Wishing Well: pull with Gold or Expedition Medals, and pick your pity prize

Wishing Well now also takes Expedition Medals, one per pull, while the Expedition is on. You pick your own pity prize before you pull. Grand prizes: the Lucky Dragon Soul Orb and the Premium Scripture Gift Box.
Tamer's Codex, a new pet skill book banner: Lv75 Guardian's Might, Resonance, Bulwark Wrath and Battle Instinct, with a pity prize you choose.
Tamer's Fortune now holds a tradable Tamer Ticket (30 Days) and the Omni-Platinum Axe Lv60.
Pull history: every banner shows your pulls of the last 30 days.
The Premium Scripture Gift Box card lists everything inside and the chance of each.

Tamer's Codex

The Lumi Store is open at play.tamer.land/store: packs from Rp15,000 for 500 Lumi up to 21,000 Lumi, with bonus Lumi on the bigger packs. Pay by card, QRIS, GoPay, ShopeePay, OVO, DANA or bank transfer.
Lumi is shared by every character on your account.

First Top Up Prize: your first top up unlocks the Sleepwear Male and Sleepwear Female costumes (+50 stats each). Claim it from the Events hub.
The Tamer Store now has weekly limits per account on its rarer lines, and a Tamer Ticket bought there is now tradable.

The new phone HUD with the skill dial

One slide-in menu: every system, board and your quest tracker in a drawer from the right edge.
A two-ring skill dial in the corner: your 12 skills on the inner ring, your pet's 6 on the outer. Turn it with a swipe.
A slimmer left side: all four party members show without scrolling, and the joystick sits neatly in the corner.
Sized to your screen: the HUD fits your phone's height, with Compact, Standard and Large sizes in Settings.
Windows keep their proportions instead of stretching across the screen.
Double-tap moves a stack between your bag and the open warehouse.

The slide-in menu

Lighter graphics on phones: maps, monsters, NPCs and battle backgrounds use GPU-compressed textures, using far less memory on phones and in Fast mode.
New Graphics Quality and Full detail settings for nearby characters, to keep busy towns smooth.

Two new pet skills: Bulwark Wrath turns hard defenses into attack, and Battle Instinct guards from the front and strikes from behind. Find them in the Lv55 and Lv75 Pet Skill Chests and the Commodity Exchange.
Sleepwear Male and Female costumes: sleepy pajamas with +50 stats.
Stat updates for the Landlord costume, Ocean Rider, Shiranui Windmill, Spade J and Shuriken Exclusive.

Guild banners: upload your own banner beside your emblem.
New guilds have a week of probation to reach their member count, and leaving a guild means a day's wait before joining another.
Chat history comes back when you log in, and stays when you switch characters.
Party and Guild chat show which of your characters they're for.
Your own chat lines now sit on the right.

Tamer's Journey joins the Events hub with its level gift ladder, and upcoming events show there too.
Every "how many?" dialog has an All button, and you can use many Gold Nuggets, EXP cards or Tamer Ticket cards at once.
Sort lets you pick an order and can sort every bag page.
Monsters are easier to click into a fight, and quest monsters' dots on the world map follow them.
Item cards follow your mouse in every window.
If your default skill is cooling down, your character uses the next ready skill instead of standing still.
