Patch Notes v0.14.18: Gray Zone Mining, Pet Lock and Cleaner Mining Fields

A new place to gather materials, a way to keep your best pets safe, and a clean-up of every mining field. Here's what's new.

⛏️ Gray Zone Mining Field (Lv60+)

The north of the Gray Zone now holds nine mining sites, one for each Advanced crafting material:

  • Soulstone, Gale Leaf, Blazestone, Purpleflame, Shadowstone, Sacred Jade, Wind Orb, Darkstone and Memory Stone.
  • Each site gives 50% its own Advanced material, a small chance of its next grade, and Lv1 materials for the same class and gear slots.
  • Gale Leaf is chopped with an axe; every other site is mined with a pickaxe. Shop tools work, and so do the Golden and Platinum axes.
  • Look for the signposts: each site is its own patch of ore-strewn ground.

Getting there: walk north from Kazan. The road into the Gray Zone now needs Lv65. Below that the guards turn you back with "You are not strong enough to be there yet." The Gray Zone is still home to Lv85-100 monsters, so come prepared.

🔒 Pet Lock

Your best pets can now be locked with your account PIN (the same PIN as Item Lock):

  • Right-click (or long-press) a pet → Lock. A padlock appears on its portrait.
  • A locked pet cannot be released, traded, put on your stall, or used up at the Pet Dealer (fusion material, combination or card).
  • It can still fight, move between the Pet Slot and the Pet Room, and be the Major pet in a fusion.
  • Unlock asks for your PIN. No PIN yet? You'll be taken to Settings → Security to set one.

⛰️ Every Mining Field, Fixed

We went through every mining area in Elven Lands, Galedora Highlands, Kalar Peninsula, Kazan and Phaelius:

  • Every ore you can see can now be mined, right up to the edges of each field.
  • Every signpost stands in its own field, and each field gives exactly what its signpost says.
  • In Elven Lands, the five sites no longer share one huge area: each has its own field around its ore, so the open meadow is no longer mined by accident.

🐾 Pets

  • Resting pets keep their intimacy longer: a pet on Rest or in the Pet Room now goes from full to empty in about 16 days (it was 8). Pets out with you are unchanged.
  • Release Below shows each grade in its own colour, so you can see at a glance what you are letting go.
  • On mobile, the long-press pet menu is shorter: the Atk / Def / Poss / Rest buttons are already on the pet's row.

📱 Interface

  • New font, Tamer Sans: clearer numbers and easier reading at small sizes.
  • Play full screen: on a sideways phone, one "Play full screen" card takes you in. Tapping the game no longer jumps to full screen by itself.
  • Your build version now shows in Settings: handy when you report a bug.

See you in the Gray Zone, Tamers! ⛏️
